Great location with the added benefit of 2 off street parking spots. The hosts were super responsive and great to communicate with. I don't know if I would recommend staying here during the summer months as one of the bedrooms on the lower level was very warm and clearly had issues with AC even after we opened the vents. Since we had children staying in that room they didn't mind but an adult wouldn't be able to tolerate it. The seating options when eating are limited, too, since the main table is on the porch (esthetically pleasing but super hot in 90+ degree weather). It is a very charming AIRBNB and in a historic building so creaks, etc., are to be expected but I agree with a previous review that you can tell the property managers don't spend a lot of time in the unit and it could use a little TLC. Overall it worked well for our 4 adults and 3 children.
The location is amazing and the home is spacious and has the things you need for a cozy stay in Charleston. You can tell the property managers don’t spend a ton of time in the space as there are some things kind of falling apart once you settle in and start noticing, but nothing major. Overall we had a very cozy stay.
Super cute home in a walkable area to some shops/restaurants/coffee shops! Airbnb has the old southern charm & I loved that! 4 bedrooms is also hard to find so everyone had their own which was so nice! When looking at finding the perfect spot, noise was a common comment but honestly wasn’t an issue at all at this spot! Loved my stay!
