I wish we could have given this apartment at least 5 stars, but in-spite of the efforts by the management company to resolve noise issues (and they were responsive and acted immediately to our concerns), unfortunately they issue with noise from the apartment above are not something that can be resolved. Every footstep and every move of a chair is amplified into the bedroom of the apartment. That said, there is no other street noise and it is located right in the heart of downtown. Everything else about the apartment, location and management company exceeded expectations. If you are willing to manage the noise from upstairs to be in the heart of old town, this apartment should be a first choice. It is small but beautifully appointed, clean and the space is used amazingly well. We would stay here again, but with earplugs next time!
This is a great spot in the middle of Charleston. We loved this place and how conveniently located it is to all of the fun and charm of Charleston. We will stay here again.
