I booked this stay last minute for a work trip and it ended up being absolutely perfect. The hosts were incredibly responsive and made everything easy from booking through check-in. After a day of work, it was so nice coming back to such a welcoming and comfortable spot. I loved the charming Charleston character, and the convenient location. Having parking included was a huge bonus as well! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Charleston.
We stayed at Richard's place during a difficult time; my father was hospitalized nearby, and the location truly made all the difference. The listing was perfectly situated for walking to the hospital, which allowed our family of four to visit him every single day without any hassle. The space itself was just the right size for four people, comfortable and functional for an extended stay. A few things could use an upgrade, but nothing that took away from the overall experience. Beyond the listing itself, the neighborhood is fantastic. Several great restaurants are close by, and King Street is only about a 15-minute walk, perfect for an evening stroll or grabbing a bite. Richard truly stood out as a host. When a package was delivered after we had already checked out, he went out of his way to make sure it got to us. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare and genuinely appreciated. A fantastic host in every sense, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
Described as whole house its 2 floors but that really was enough just clarity. Last second parking spot at place was taken away day before we came at that point we had no choice had to walk couple blocks to car. Battery went out on entry lock no back up key in box. Locked out at night for about an hour. Tech came who was great eventually drilled out lock. Should had a spare key!
