Pastries from Welton's Tiny Bakeshop are particularly good. We enjoyed making the walk downtown to some of the city's museums, markets, and waterfront features. We found it especially convenient to get in the car and pop onto the freeway from the house to visit attractions outside the city (be sure to visit The Birds of Prey center in Awendaw).
