I really enjoyed my stay here
Nice little 1 bedroom in a great part of historic Charleston. This unit is a good value and working with YOURPAD was very easy. The check-in process is a little odd, you have to call first and then get instructions, but other than that they are very responsive and helpful.
- Upon arrival, the unit smelled strongly of mildew (noted in previous reviews) and had visible mold around multiple air vents - Poor door and window seals are at least partially to blame, though mushy drywall underneath a guestroom window suggests possible water damage - We ran the A/C nonstop for the first 3 days of our stay in hopes of reducing humidity and improving air quality, but contacted YourPad support when the problem persisted - YourPad was quick to respond; they were unable to relocate us, but sent a tech within hours - The tech installed a dehumidifier 2 days later, but despite running non-stop for the next 48 hours, the device was unable to reduce the humidity inside the unit below 64% - After seeing multiple cockroaches in the unit, we shared photos with the YourPad team and requested an early checkout - YourPad agreed and offered a partial refund, but we're still waiting on the bulk of that refund 7 biz days later
