We loved staying here! The place was huge, extremely clean, and exactly as pictured. It’s on a beautiful residential street, everything was close and walkable, but you felt removed from the craziness that can be King St. We had just 2 of us for our visit, but this would be a perfect place to share with 2 couples. We got in early, and the hosts were fantastic to deal with and let us get in early to drop our luggage. We will be back!

The home itself was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated—very charming and truly Charleston-esque. The porch was lovely, and the location on Spring Street is fairly central. That said, because the primary bedroom faces the street, there is noticeable morning noise from commuters. Unfortunately, communication from the host company was lacking. I received multiple promotional messages for add-on services, yet did not receive check-in details until I reached out on the day of arrival. Even then, door codes were not provided promptly, which resulted in waiting outside and having to call for immediate help. Additionally, the listing advertises “on-premise” parking, but parking is actually located in an unlit lot behind another Airbnb a street over, requiring a walk of nearly half a mile—this was not disclosed until day of. Overall, a beautiful home, but clearer communication and more accurate listing details would significantly improve the experience.
