The location had the amenities reflected in the images. The site is a single room with an attached bathroom. The site was centrally located to other attractions and restaurants. A few notes. The local parking garage is behind the building. The room has an adjacent suite that has a shared door with little sound barrier. Alarms went off about 9:30 PM in the adjacent suite. Couldn’t get someone to turn them off and was instead at 9:53 asked if I would go to the adjacent suite and investigate the issue. Found interconnected smoke alarms going off. Was asked to collect them and place on counter at 10:01. This was a three floor suite that I was now taking care of on my vacation. I am a facilities manager and this is the last thing I wanted to do but seemed this was the only solution that would result in us getting sleep. The sound of these was so loud due to the shared door. I am thankful the host allowed me to turn them off. Parking was reimbursed.

It was a great stay, right in the heart of Charleston’s E. Bay St., so many walkable stores and restaurants. If you’re wanting to be out and about and exploring downtown Charleston, this is a great place to stay at.

Excellent location surrounded by every attraction you want to see in Charleston. The place itself was as pictures just needed some TLC. Very dusty and if you walked barefoot in the house your feet would be black from dirt. Not pictured or told about, the adjoining door to another apartment in the description, the place has an adjacent apartment with a shared but locked door. Not sure if this is a permanent tenant or another AirBnB but the noise from the neighbors through that adjoining door made it feel like the family and there children were in the place with us. Very loud to say the least.
