Unfortunately, our stay was significantly impacted by a severe termite infestation. My bedroom and bathroom were covered wall to wall with termites and termite wings, which made it impossible to comfortably use the space or sleep there after a long day at a conference. When we reported the issue, we were told this was “normal,” but the extent of the infestation felt far beyond normal and should have been addressed before guests arrived. Thankfully, the team was able to find us another Airbnb to move into and allowed us a late checkout the next day, which we appreciated. Overall, while I’m grateful a solution was eventually provided, the experience was stressful, disruptive, and not acceptable for a guest stay.
It was so convenient and within walking distance to pretty much everything.
