The place needs a lot of professional restoration. It’s a very old home but repairs are extra low budget for the price to stay. The photos make it look way nicer than it is . Everything is at a slant and the front door feels unsafe along with the wobbly hand rail. Location was good and it was clean . I think it could be better for the price .
This was the perfect place for us to stay! It was cozy, quiet, a 5-10 minute drive to the french quarter, and we were able to put a pack-n-play (provided by the host) in one room, and we slept in the other. The host also provided a high chair and the kitchen was fully stocked, so feeding our one year old was a piece of cake. There are so many great restaurants in the vicinity as well.
We enjoyed being in an older part of town in an historic house. Everything was a bit slanted, but sturdy enough, even on the second floor. 😁 Loved the soft, cozy sheets and bedding! Great location in a residential area close to the Medical University of South Carolina. King street was a 15 minute walk away, as were several coffee shops and restaurants. We would stay here again!
