Great spot, great location
We enjoyed our stay at the fire tower. The room was clean and updated. The bed was extremely comfortable. It was walkable to many eateries, bars and nightlife. It was also walkable from our upper king street tour. I had never been to Charleston so I wasn’t exactly sure where to stay. Most of the action is around king street, which is around the corner. It seemed most of the tourist action is around the mid to lower area of Charleston. The fire tower is around the upper area. There is still plenty to do and is a more peaceful area. We happened to be here on Carolina Day weekend. We made use of the rooftop balcony to watch the fireworks and drone show. The outdoor furniture is very nice and comfortable too. My complaint about the building is that the walls are very thin. You can hear your neighbors. If they speak normal/loud, and are standing by your wall, you can clearly hear them. They have thoughtfully provided a white noise machine to put in the room. It did help with the noise.
Great little place, super clean, cozy bed and awesome location off King Street. The host was quick to respond and very helpful during our stay.
