The rental is a block or so away from King Street and all that it offers. Very close to downtown and easy to get on interstate. The area is seeing a lot of redevelopment and this one of just few houses on the block that is left. House was clean and had the necessary amenities (no ice maker). Street noise can be a little loud and depending on who your neighbors are at the upstairs unit-- can hear them walking around (especially when coming home from the bars). There is off street parking -- but as others have mentioned the driveway is very narrow. If you have a larger SUV-- it will not fit. I had my daughters small Jeep Renegade and it barely made through. Other than that- if looking to be close to King Street and other activities-- it will work great.

This place was perfect for a college girls weekend trip! The location was great! It was so close to King street and many great restaurants. The home felt very cozy, comfortable, and safe. The host was super friendly and amazing to work with. The parking at the house is a little tight so it’s important to bring smaller vehicles. Overall, this trip couldn’t have gone any smoother. I highly recommend this place!!!

After years on Airbnb we've finally had a poor experience. Pros: The interior of the house is remodeled very nicely. Beds are very comfortable. Good space. Cons: The location is not as advertised. They claim Cannonborough/Elliotborough but the house is actually 1.5 blocks east of Kings Rd. You might think, no big deal, but that block makes a big difference. That block is not just under construction (still) but is completely run down. It & another house are the only 2 that aren't torn down on the street. It also has very shady characters walking up & down all day. There's possibly mold in one bathroom & rotting wood in another. My son had an allergic reaction & we couldn't stay. We left after one day & asked for a partial refund. The company sent us a canned response about how sorry they were & would "talk to the owners". But every day sent us messages asking us how are stay was going after we had already left and they acknowledged our refund request.
