This home was large, spacious and very clean. The parking space was an added bonus, especially in Charleston. The washer(and Tide pods) and dryer were also very much appreciated. We made dinner one evening in the home. Travel size body wash, shampoo, conditioner and body moisturizers were provided. The bedrooms had ceiling fans, which were nice however the home always felt cool, even upon arrival. The rooms also had Yogasleep white noise machines. I didn’t have trouble sleeping and the noise outside was minimal. We had a wonderful time at the home and the host were able to store our luggage after checkout so we could explore Charleston prior to our evening flight, which was super helpful and very much appreciated.
Great place and although well located the noise from the highway on both sides is noticeable. The sound machines in the bedrooms are very helpful. It would help to have more than one parking space for a house that sleeps 10-12 people too. All in all though it is a beautiful place and was spotless and very convenient for my group. Would consider staying there again.
My family has stayed in Air bnb locations all over the world and have unfortunately, never had an experience like this. We were in Charleston to celebrate a surprise 60th birthday, so it was a special occasion for our family. While the location was very walkable to fantastic restaurants and all of the shopping on King Street, the cleanliness of the property was challenging. We found bags of open chips and a mess on one of the patios, one of the main living room couches had awful stains all over it along with the area rug in the kitchen and LR. The kitchen island had black glue around the perimeter. While they were responsive to my text, they said they could send a couch cover for our stay. I did not want to interrupt our plans to wait on delivering a cover as the rug was filthy and kitchen also. I didn't want to draw Negative attention with our family who was trying to celebrate. My kids also ended up with welts on their legs also. It was not what I expected or have encountered.
